Officer of the Year

Officer of the year is an award given to one patrolman and correctional officer every year. The recipients were voted by their fellow officers. 

Patrolman OF the year 2025

Cody Parsons

Cody Parsons has been with CCSO since 2020 where he started as a corrections officer. He transferred to patrol in 2022 before joining investigations as a detective.

Correctional officer of the year 2025

Josh Miller

Josh has been a correctional officer for the Coles County Jail since 2022.
